Education and Professional Activities

Ms. Viera is the co-chair of the Mediation Committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She is also the President of the Board of Directors of East Bay Community Mediation. Ms. Viera received her J.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall Law School, where she was an Associate Editor of both the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law and the Berkeley Women’s Law Journal.  Ms. Viera served as Director of the East Bay Workers’ Rights Clinic and used her Spanish language-skills as an advocate for clients of the Central American Refugee Clinic.  Ms. Viera graduated with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in Psychology.  She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in 1990.
